Kate McCarthy graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2014. She is an Oral Health Therapist whose scope includes examination, treatment and prevention. Oral Health Therapists have a strong preventive focus and help promote positive oral health. In the 8 years of practice, she has found a passion for orthodontic, cosmetic and children's dentistry.
She grew up in Wauchope, a small town 4.5 hours North of Sydney. She believes that a warm and welcoming manner is pivotal to patient-centred care. She loves to establish a meaningful relationship with her patients.
Seeing children makes her happy and she would make their experience, as well as their continuing care, fun to do!
Outside of work, you will find Kate being active in the gym or having a run, managing her side business, watching live sport, and catching up with family or friends.
